BICES 2013 exhibition organisers bullish about Beijing event

Plans are well in hand for the 12th Beijing International Construction Machinery Exhibition and Seminar (BICES 2013). The BICES 2013 event is expected to grow from its success at the last show held in 2011
Plans are well in hand for the 12th Beijing International Construction Machinery Exhibition and Seminar (2730 BICES 2013). This will be held at Beijing Jiuhua International Exhibition Centre from 15th to 18th Oct, 2013 and will also be co-located with the China International Commercial Vehicle Exhibition (IVEX 2013) and China International Emergency Rescue Equipment Exhibition.

BICES 2013 is expected to achieve an increase in exhibition area, with 230,000㎡ of space planned, while the number of exhibitors will exceed 1,500. An increase in both domestic and international visitors is also expected for BICES 2013. And the US-based 676 AEM will continue its promotion and exhibitors recruitment work as official international partner of BICES.

The exhibition organisers have visited several key companies to understand their demands and requirements. Exhibitor interest is said to be strong and the organisers say bookings reflect this.

A key development for BICES is that the show will shift from a being traditional communication platform for new technology, green development and advanced market. It will instead focus on value of the construction machinery industry chain. BICES will demonstrate “value of innovation” in a new way to propel the sustainable development of construction machinery market. In addition, BICES2013 will organise diversified symposia, seminars and display activities.

Sustainable development will be key theme for the event. Under the guidance of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of People’s Republic of China and Ministry of Education of People’s Republic of China, the 2nd International Construction Machinery and Special Vehicle Design Competition will be opened to engineering college students and professionals. This competition is very helpful to national talents reserve, and the promotion of independent-innovation, research upgrade and energy saving.
