Work on a key road project in Belarus is being financed by Chinese sources.

Work on a key road project in Belarus is being financed by Chinese sources. An agreement between the Belarus Government and China's Exim Bank has been made over the Zhlobin-Gomel road. Under the terms of the agreement, the Exim Bank will provide a package loans worth some US$1.06 billion that will be used to fund improvements and upgrades to the road that will increase capacity and safety standards.

    Key highway developments are improving connectivity for Ethiopia. The African Development Bank (AfDB) will finance part of the Mojo-Hawassa express highway project.     Talks between the Chinese Development Bank and the Serbian Government could result in Chinese funding for Serbian highway projects. The Danube coast project and the Corridor 11 highway project have been identified.
