The organisers of 688 Bauma China 2012 say that exhibitors can now start registering for the exhibition. Registration closes on 15 February 2012 and at present, 300,000m2 of exhibition space is available.

The event will be held in the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) from 27-30th November 2012.

The organisers say that since the first event in 2002, demand for bauma China has increased steadily. For this reason, the exhibition area has been extended again.

Next year will be the first time that the entire SNIEC site of 300,000m2 is available. This will comprise 200,000m2 of indoor space and, as before, 100,000m2 of outdoor space.

This equates to an increase of fully 30% compared with the previous event. The organisers say that there is high demand for the pre-events while there is strong growth in the Asian construction machinery market.

As a result the organisers hope to set a new space record for bauma China 2012. A total of 1,892 exhibitors from 37 countries took part in the last bauma China together with 155,615 visitors from 171 countries, while the trade fair occupied 230,000m2 of exhibition space.
