bauma Africa expanded to 50,000m2

Demand for exhibition space at the inaugural bauma Africa has meant the event has again been expanded. Instead of the originally planned 200 exhibitors, the premiere of bauma Africa in Johannesburg, South Africa from 18-21 September, is now expecting to host around 400 exhibitors. The resulting increase in demand for exhibition space means the event being expanded again, by another 15,000m2 to a total of 50,000m2. Demand for exhibition space at the inaugural 688 Bauma Africa has meant the event has again been expanded.

Instead of the originally planned 200 exhibitors, the premiere of bauma Africa in Johannesburg, South Africa from 18-21 September, is now expecting to host around 400 exhibitors.
The resulting increase in demand for exhibition space means the event being expanded again, by another 15,000m2 to a total of 50,000m2.

Organisers Messe München International says that major players including Atlas Copco, Bauer, Bell, ELB Equipment, Goscor Group, Herrenknecht, Hyundai, LiuGong, Pilot Crushtec, Putzmeister, Sany, Shantui, Sumitomo, Terex Finlay, Vermeer, Wacker Neuson, Wirtgen and XCMG are already signed up for the first edition of the international trade fair for construction machinery, building material machines, mining machines and construction vehicles.

Messe München says that also very satisfactory is the high level of interest from abroad.

In total there will be nine country pavilions at the show from Austria, China, Finland, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Korea, Northern Ireland and Spain.
