The registration process has now started for the 688 Bauma 2013 exhibition in Germany. A new feature is that exhibitors can now send applications online. Preparations are well underway and the fair will take place from 15th to 21st April at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre. Applications are invited from exhibitors wishing to take part in the 30th International Trade Fair. Prospective exhibitors can fill in their application forms and send them by post or fax, or complete the whole procedure online, at www.bauma.de. The deadline for receipt of applications is 2nd March 2012. The last bauma, in 2010, attracted 3,256 exhibitors from 53 countries, and over 420,000 visitors from more than 200 nations. The statistics for the fair are independently audited by Ernst & Young on behalf of the Gesellschaft zur Freiwilligen Kontrolle von Messe- und Ausstellungszahlen (FKM), a society for the voluntary control of fair and exhibition statistics. Organising trade fairs for the international construction machinery sector is a core competence of Messe München International. In addition to the world´s leading trade fair, bauma in Munich, MMI also organises the brand events bauma China in Shanghai and bC India in Mumbai. Outside Germany, the Group engages in activities via its subsidiaries MMI Asia and 1105 IMAG, or as a cooperation partner in regional events for the sector.
