Bahrain work on track

Work on Bahrain's Eisa Town Gate Intersection project is to get back on track shortly. The work stopped when South Korean contractor Sungwon was afflicted by financial issues due to funding problems encountered in Dubai and South Korea.

Work on Bahrain's Eisa Town Gate Intersection project is to get back on track shortly. The work stopped when South Korean contractor 2285 Sungwon was afflicted by financial issues due to funding problems encountered in Dubai and South Korea. The Bahrain Government is appointing another contractor to take over the project and the work could be completed by September of this year.

    Work on a key bridge link in Vietnam is behind schedule and the construction team will have to speed up work. Delays have hit the project to build the Vam Cong Bridge, which will span the Hau River. The firms building the bridge, South Korean contractor, GS E&C and Hanshin E&C has been told by Vietnam's Transportation Ministry to accelerate construction efforts.     Siemens has agreed to supply its satellite-based prioritisation system Sitraffic Stream to the Icelandic capital, Reykjavik Reykjavik and the Icelandic Road and Coastal administration (Vegagerd rikisins) are sharing the system that ensures traffic lights automatically turn green for emergency and urban public transport vehicles at road intersections.
