JCB has completed its 17-model, US-built second generation skid steer and compact tracked loader line. The firm has added the 175, 190 and 205 model skid steers and the 190T and 205T CTLs to the range, all of which are vertical-lift-arm models powered by a 44.7kW engine. JCB now has a machine to cover 97% of the global skid steer market, which accounts for more than 70,000 loaders a year.

JCB is adding to its waste handling range with the launch of the JS20MH materials handler and the 4CXWM wastemaster backhoe loader. The 20 tonne JS20MH is the firm’s first dedicated materials handler for the waste and recycling industries. Based on the JS160W Wastemaster wheeled excavator, the JS20MH uses a new undercarriage and chassis design with a central slew turret delivering increased stability. JCB is improving the performance of key models in the telehandler, boom loader and mini excavator ranges The telehandler models now offer higher performance, for lower fuel consumption. And JCB has broadened its range with the addition of the 550-80, able to lift a 5tonne load to 8m, as well as the 540-20, with a maximum payload of 4tonnes and a maximum lift height of 20m. The 535-140 telehandler is a key mid-range machine for the company and offers load-sensing hydraulics, further improving its efficiency
