The problem of drink driving is seeing an unwelcome upsurge on Britain’s road network. The latest official data reveals that casualties from drink driving are now on the increase. According to Department for Transport data, there were 9,040 people killed or seriously injured (KSI) as a result of drink driving on the British road network in 2016. Liebherr’s PR 756 Litronic crawler tractor is one of two new models in its now three-strong Generation 6 crawler tractor programme.
Like the PR 736 and PR 746, the PR 756 is Stage IV engine emission standard and offers a six-cylinder 250kW engine. The model’s operating weight ranges from 38.3-41.15tonnes.
The main components of the PR 756 come from Liebherr’s own production facility. Among these are the diesel engine and the common rail injection system as well as the hydraulic and electronic components.
