More than 630 items will go under the hammer during Ritchie Bros first ever industrial auction at its new Donington Park site in the East Midlands region of England. Starting at 9am on Tuesday April 17, the unreserved public auction will include more than 180 excavators, 70 dumpers, 43 tandem rollers, 39 telescopic forklifts, a number of wheel and backhoe loaders and many other machines for construction and agricultural industry use.

More than 304 people in the UK are alive today or have avoided the prospect of a lifetime of special care because just 15 roads have had simple improvements put in place, according to this year's tracking survey by the Road Safety Foundation.
The pan-European police body, TISPOL, is planning a road safety event to be held in the UK later this year. This conference will be run on 1st and 2nd October in the UK city of Manchester. The theme for the 2013 conference is Improving Road Safety - Solutions that Work and the event will be held at the Radisson Blu Hotel at Manchester Airport.
