The UK contract, worth nearly €1.8 million, is to repaint the entire main span underdeck of the 417m-long bridge, the second oldest operational vehicular suspension bridge in the world.
In Hong Kong plans are moving forward with regard to the construction of the new Lam Tin Tunnel. The tunnel will be around 2.6km long and form the major stretch of a new 4.2km road link connecting Lam Tin with Tseung Kwan O South.
