4924 Anaconda Equipment, which is exhibiting its DF410 tracked screener at 688 Bauma, has been crowned Business of the Year in the Belfast Telegraph 2013 Business Awards in its home country of Northern Ireland.

In making the award, the judges considered the business’s growth, export achievements and design innovations, said Anaconda marketing manager Catrina Quinn. One particular innovation relates to the transport of its machines.

“The majority of our machines can be shipped in a single container,” said Quinn. “It makes transporting them much more efficient and cost-effective.”

Anaconda produces six units a week and exports machines around the world. It has just signed up a new dealer, Prall-Tec, in Germany to distribute its range of mobile screens and conveyors. “This is good move for us because Prall-Tec is well-known in the German market,” said Quinn.
