Ammann’s new AVA 250 add-on compactor for mini-excavators

Ammann’s new AVA 250 machine is its first add-on compactor specifically designed for mini-excavators. Described by the Swiss firm as an efficient add-on compactor for use on mini-excavators weighing at least 2tonnes, the AVA 250 can also be used on backhoe loaders. A built-in twin-shaft exciter is said by Ammann to give the AVA 250 maximum directed compaction energy. With a working weight of 180kg and a centrifugal force of 20kN, the AVA 250 is said to prevent any vibration transfer to the loader’s boom.

Described by the Swiss firm as an efficient add-on compactor for use on mini-excavators weighing at least 2tonnes, the AVA 250 can also be used on backhoe loaders.
