Ammann launch new infra-red controlled trench roller
6791 Ammann has launched a new infra-red controlled trench roller at bauma 2013.

The new Rammax 1575 CI trench roller is the articulated counterpart to the proven, skid-steered Rammax 1515 trench roller.

Its launch underscores Ammann’s position as a specialist for trench rollers and rounds off the world's most comprehensive programme by offering both steering concepts.

The machine is equipped with a water-cooled Yanmar three-cylinder engine, which provides significant compaction output and extreme climbing and advancing rates. With the lowest centre of gravity available on the market, a unique articulated pendulum joint and the best tilt stability on difficult terrain makes the Rammax 1575 hard to beat when it comes to operator convenience.

Another key feature is its solar-powered remote control, which guarantees permanent operational readiness. The proven infra-red technology has seen significant improvements and continues to offer the highest safety standard for the operator and the surrounding site.
