This package can monitor tyre performance and optimise budgeting, forecasting and inventory, allowing users to gain maximum value from tyres. Key benefits of using the system include real time web-based data and information flow and the system provides a comprehensive fleet inspection tool. It also allows users to carry out customisable budgeting and forecasting while offering multiple user input and retrieval capabilities. In addition it offers complete fleet data consolidation. The system is available to end users and key accounts through Michelin representatives and its dealers and provides easy to read reports. These can be exported in several formats and OperTrak can consolidate information from multiple company sites as well as configuring data through various organisational levels. The information can be viewed by region, zone, state, site or other criteria to meet user needs.
ZF used bauma 2013 to show the next stage of development for its cPower continuously variable transmission (CVT). By combining the transmission with a hybrid module, ZF said greater operating efficiencies were available from the integration of start/stop technology and energy recovery from regenerative braking. The 988K, a complete upgrade of the H Series, meets the stringent European Union (EU) Stage IV/United States (U.S.) EPA Tier 4 Final emission standards. Bonfiglioli has developed an electric drum drive for the new hybrid truck mixer from CIFA, the concrete equipment specialist owned by Chinese manufacturer Zoomlion. The 500 series drum drive with electric motor offers drum rotation speeds from 15-22rpm and is suited to mixer capacities from 6-14m3.
