Advanced high reach capability from Haulotte’s latest access plaform

According to Haulttoe, its new HT 23 RTJ platform offers a wider working envelope than previous designs in its size class. Platform working height is 22.5m, while its horizontal outreach is 18.3m, around 1m higher than competing units. Haulotte says that its new access platform offers high reach capabilities
According to 712 Haulotte, its new HT 23 RTJ platform offers a wider working envelope than previous designs in its size class. Platform working height is 22.5m, while its horizontal outreach is 18.3m, around 1m higher than competing units.  A dual load system is available as an option, allowing a lifting capacity up to 450kg while the machine is said to offer a high lifting speed, taking just 56 seconds to reach full height and increasing its productivity in this product segment. It also offers high manoeuvrability, a compact turning radius for its class while four wheel steer and four wheel drive offer good mobility on congested building sites and in tight spaces. The steering selector offers three positions; two-wheel steer, four wheel steer and crab mode while its centralised control means that the four wheels are controlled simultaneously, allowing fast and safe steering. A high level of control is claimed when driving the units at full speed, with its jib raised for better visibility. According to the firm it offers the best working envelope and the fastest lifting speed in its class. It also has fully proportional and simultaneous movement control and is said to deliver optimum productivity. High rough terrain capability due to the use of an oscillating axle as standard and automatic differential lock, while the unit is said to provide high levels of operator comfort, reliability and safety. The boom of the HT23 RTJ has been designed to ensure high rigidity and the machine is equipped with sophisticated hydraulics. In addition, the chassis hydraulic drive that makes the machine easy to maintain while its 1265 Kubota engine is said to be economical, durable and powerful. The HT23 RTJ is the first machine to have the new Haulotte fully modular basket, which is easy and cost effective to repair. This means it is possible to replace a damaged component instead of changing the whole basket.
