58 trunk highway projects set for Henan, China

Motorists in China's Henan Province are set to benefit from a US$276.34million (CNY 1.76bn) investment in 58 trunk highway projects during 2012. The projects include upgrading the S237 route between Yuzhou and Xuchang and G107 road links between Menghu and Longhu.

    US-based contractor Flatiron has won a US$157 million design and build contract for an interchange in the Canadian city of Winnipeg, in the province of Manitoba. The project, for owner Manitoba Infrastructure and Transportation, will replace the existing loop-ramp interchange for Provincial Trunk Highways 59 and 101.     A legal hiatus has delayed the construction of a highway in Tanzania linking Tunduru, Matemanga-Kilimasenra, Namtumbo, and Songea.
