$1.53 billion Vietnam expressway upgrade

A $1.53 billion Vietnam expressway upgrade project is planned.

Upgrade work is planned for the expressway connecting Ho Chi Minh City with Trung Luong and My Thuan. This project is expected to cost $1.53 billion, with the route being extended to a distance of 96km.

Site preparation work is commencing in 2025. The construction work for the project will commence in 2026 and is expected to take until 2028 to complete. The project has been subject to delays due to issues with regard to the approvals process. But work will now go ahead.
