In the margins of the IRF World Congress 2024 held in Istanbul, the International Road Federation (IRF) has unveiled a new domain name, www.irfofficial.org coupled with a refreshed visual identity and a tagline guiding its mission “Connecting to Empower Mobility”.

Roads do more than just connect destinations, they are the veins of society, linking communities, fostering sustainable development and creating pathways to opportunity. Just as roads link cities, countries, and people, IRF brings together experts, policymakers, and organisations to make sustainable mobility a reality for all.

The International Road Federation was founded in 1948 to bring countries together and rebuild a war-torn Europe. Since then and for now over seven decades, the IRF has championed the development of sustainable road networks. From its headquarters in Geneva and engaging in over 130 countries worldwide, the IRF shares knowledge and expertise, brings together people, business and organisations, and drives policy and advocacy for safer, more efficient, and resilient road systems worldwide.

Guided by the principle of “Connecting to Empower Mobility” the now refreshed logo and website address reflect our vision and embody the commitment to connecting the dots for a more inclusive future, creating lasting impact worldwide.

The redesigned website complements this identity, offering streamlined access to IRF’s core resources. With a user-friendly layout, visitors can explore key sections, including IRF-organised and supported events, training opportunities, major project initiatives, membership benefits, and the IRF World Road Statistics among much more. The site also features the recently launched International Registry for Road Safety Auditors, offering access to a list of certified road safety auditors, showcasing our commitment to safety and excellence in road infrastructure.

Visit www.irfofficial.org and join the IRF to build a more connected and sustainable future.
