The International Road Federation will host a gathering of mobility professionals and road, tunnel and bridge equipment manufacturers from around the world. These industry professionals will attend the IRF Global Road Conference & Expo, November 7-9, 2018 in Las Vegas, Nevada, US.

According to 3918 IRF Washington president & CEO C Patrick Sankey "The IRF Global Road Conference and 8722 R2T Global Expo combine to offer a new international meeting point where leading industry innovators, researchers, and stakeholders acquire essential engineering and business insights, and help build tomorrow's transportation infrastructure today. IRF is proud to host this combined landmark event and exhibition which will help accelerate the use of global best practices".

"Many road innovations with promising applications are now in reach; however, implementing them on an industrial scale still represents a real challenge" notes Professor Kamil Kaloush (Arizona State University), co-chair of the Congress Scientific Committee. "We found it very important to organise a global event that brought together the most innovative researchers with the top practitioners and users of innovation and technology."

With rising expectations placed on the delivery of sustainable transport infrastructure, the IRF Conference will offer government agencies and road professionals access to knowledge resources. These will come from innovations in project design, to managing transportation assets, and to readying road networks for the arrival of connected and autonomous vehicles. Meanwhile the Expo will offer visitors state-of-the-art solutions from the world's top equipment manufacturers.
