The Argentine Road Association will hold its 15th Argentine Congress on Safety and Transportation from 14-18 September, 2009 in Mar del Plata, Argentina. This congress will provide a forum for international speakers and participants to exchange ideas and experiences from their respective countries on pertinent road safety and transportation issues of the day.

The five-day congress, which will be conducted in Spanish only, will include an exhibition area where companies can display and promote their activities to congress participants in order to enhance knowledge and understanding of the road industry and its available resources. IRF will exhibit during the congress to promote its own visibility in these respects.

During the congress, IRF will notably hold a half-day road safety technical seminar entitled "Improving the Safety of Vulnerable Road Users," by way of contribution to the overall event, and in order to enhance awareness among participants regarding the road dangers and safety issues affecting countries worldwide.

In addition, IRF will hold a private breakfast one morning during the congress as a way to thank member-sponsors, potential members and other dignitaries, both for their contributions to the industry and their participation in IRF events.
