Booming BICES 2015 to attract more visitors

The 13th Beijing International Construction Machinery Exhibition & Seminar (BICES) will be the largest exhibition for construction machinery in Asia during 2015. Key construction equipment manufacturers will be launching important new machines at BICES 2015, as at previous editions of this event

The 13th Beijing International Construction Machinery Exhibition & Seminar (2730 BICES) will be the largest exhibition for construction machinery in Asia during 2015. This major event is being held from September 22nd to 25th, 2015 at the New Beijing International Exhibition Centre (NBIEC) for the first time. This new venue is the most advanced exhibition center in Beijing and the event has switched to the site in response to demands from both exhibitors and visitors. The switch to the NBIEC marks another milestone for BICES during its history, which stretches back nearly 30 years.

BICES 2015 is once again being organised by 2735 China Construction Machinery Association (CCMA), China Construction Machinery Co, (CNCMC) and 5209 China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Machinery Sub-Council (CCPIT-MSC). It is being managed meanwhile by Beijing Asiamachine International Convention & Exhibition. The 3rd China International Commercial Vehicle Exhibition and the 3rd China International Emergency Rescue Equipment Exhibition will be held simultaneously at the same venue.

The BICES 2015 exhibition is expected to attract nearly 1,000 exhibitors from nearly 30 countries and regions, with the show area reaching 150,000m2. Meanwhile, more than 100,000 visitors from over 100 countries will be invited to the exhibition, forming a high-quality and professional visiting group.

Chinese manufacturers exhibiting include 1171 Shantui, 2490 XCMG, 269 LiuGong, 1170 SANY, 1175 Zoomlion, 2713 XGMA, SINOMACH, CNIGC, HELI, 5316 SDLG, 1173 SUNWARD, LISHIDE, Giant Hydraulic Tech, Hunan CSR Times Electric Vehicle Coand Zhejiang Dingli Machinery Co. They also include SINOBOOM, China Road Machinery Alliance, NFLG, Liaoyang Road Building Machinery Group, WEICHAI, SDEC, JONCHN, CHANGYUAN, HengLi, LIMING, STRONGER. In addition, foreign firms including 233 Hitachi, 257 John Deere, 2199 JLG, 2300 Komatsu, 2617 Kawasaki, 712 Haulotte, Z-ton, 1228 MOBA, 2724 Isuzu, 759 Scania, Dinamicoil, Igus and SSAB are also exhibiting at BICES 2015.

During BICES 2015, Hitachi will introduce its ZAXIS-5 series ZX55USR-5A and ZX170LC-5A hydraulic excavators to the Chinese market. These have been awarded the Technology Innovation Gold Prize of 2015 Top 50 China Construction Machinery Annual Products. From LiuGong the new generation 890H wheel loader, 950E excavator, TC550A crane and LMJ106 crawler-type mobile crushing and screening plant will also be on display. From Shantui will come a series of new products including the novel SD16YS and DH17 bulldozers, and the SR14D-3 dual drum vibratory roller, all making their debut in the exhibition. The concrete equipment enterprise Ca-long will display its CL-7500, which it claims to be the world’s highest capacity asphalt mixing plant.

Enterprises manufacturing aerial work platforms will be a major highlight of BICES 2015 outdoor show area. Appearing at the show will be 2199 JLG, 712 Haulotte, 1222 Terex and South Korean company Z-ton as well as other international firms. The 3721 International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) is retaining its long-term cooperative partnership with BICES and will participate at the event. 2135 IPAF will carry out demonstrations of the safe operation of aerial work platforms in the outdoor show area.

Diversified international forums and seminars will also be held during the BICES 2015 exhibition, providing a platform for further exchanges for exhibitors and visitors. These include the 2015 Top 50 Summit of World Construction Machinery Industry, World Crane Summit & China Lift 100 Summit, 2015 International Rental Conference and 2015 China-Japan-Korea Crane BBS. They also include the Top BBS of One Belt One Road Opportunities and Construction Machinery Application, 6th China Construction Machinery Market Marketing Salon, Civil-Military Integration Conference of Engineering Machinery Equipment, 2015 Construction Machinery President EC Salon.

To better cater to the requirements of exhibitors and attendees, the show organisers decided to move BICES 2015 to the NBIEC facility. This showground is equipped with more facilities and provides a full range of Chinese and Western catering, as well as venues for shopping and recreation. There are over 50 different hotels around the NBIEC facility, which offers a broader range of options for exhibitors and visitors for accommodation and conference venues. Exhibitors and visitors can book hotels on BICES official website and benefit from preferential pricing agreed between the show exhibitors and the hotels. The BICES organisers are also providing free shuttle bus services at nearby hotels and subway stations.

BICES 2015 will continue to provide online pre-registration services to visitors who can get theirreceive electronic badges after logging on the official website for pre-registration. Visitors can also receive the electronic badge via sweeping the official Wechat QR code.

BICES 2015 will bring together worldwide renowned brands in the construction machinery industry, organise an array of discussion forums, and also attract both domestic and overseas media to report on the exhibition.
