Mulch ado about FTX100

Fecon’s new FTX100 LGP mulching tractor is said by the company to be ideal for right of way clearing, site prep and many other forestry applications. Equipped with a 99hp Kubota V3800, the FTX100 LGP has a heavier undercarriage than the original machine. It offers both 40cm and 51cm track shoe options in single or triple grouser. These options are said to allow the contractor to outfit the machine for rough terrain or soft ground conditions where a light footprint or reduced ground disturbance is important.

Equipped with a 99hp 1265 Kubota V3800, the FTX100 LGP has a heavier undercarriage than the original machine. It offers both 40cm and 51cm track shoe options in single or triple grouser. These options are said to allow the contractor to outfit the machine for rough terrain or soft ground conditions where a light footprint or reduced ground disturbance is important.

The 51cm wide track option on the FTX100 LGP provides 4.4psi ground pressure. Other features on the purpose-built tractor include ground clearance, tractive effort and durability. With the standard quick attach mounting system the FTX100 LGP can be equipped to use several forestry and construction attachments. Its compact size and a weight of 6,781kgs allows for easy transport with mid-sized trucks.
