Yanmar restructuring European operations in France and Germany

Yanmar is restructuring its construction equipment and compact equipment supply operations in Europe. The firm is integrating the management of its French and German subsidiaries into single organisation. 7139 Yanmar is restructuring its construction equipment and compact equipment supply operations in Europe. The firm is integrating the management of its French and German subsidiaries into single organisation.

With the sales offices based at Bezannes ing France, Yanmar Compact Equipment will handle sales, marketing and distribution of the firm’s compact equipment, as well as the Schaeff brand machines. These products will be produced in Yanmar’s factories at Saint-Dizier in France, Crailsheim in Germany and Fukuoka in Japan for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) territories. A new managing director is also being appointed to head up this new organisation.

As part of the restructuing, Andreas Hactergal will be responsible for sales and marketing. He will be oversee the Yanmar Compact Equipment Sales and Marketing team and will manage the dealer network for the EMEA territories.

The firm says that restructuring will allow it to develop sales of the Yanmar and Schaeff products through the sales and service network in Europe, as well as helping strengthen the product portfolio. “Continuing to strengthen Yanmar’s position on the small and medium sized construction equipment market in Europe will be our main challenge for the coming years. We will be concentrating our efforts to accelerate Yanmar Compact Equipment developments, building on our high-quality products and services.” said Hactergal.
