Traffex 2024 will be the major event for the UK road sector during this year


The organisers of the Traffex exhibition and conference have unveiled their packed conference agenda for the 2024 event. Over 100 speakers have been confirmed including National Highways, Department for Transport, PACTS, Transport for London and the Office of Rail and Road.

The Traffex event is being held from 22-23 May 2024 at the CBS Arena in Coventry. Traffex is the UK’s leading road maintenance, traffic management and road safety event. The 100 speakers will present across five CPD-accredited stages.

Taking place on 22 – 23 May at the CBS Arena in Coventry alongside Parkex, Cold Comfort and brand-new event Evex, the two-day educational programme will explore the most pressing topics impacting the UK’s roads network through keynote addresses, panel discussions and interactive workshops.

This year’s stages focus on: Road Management & Mobility; Road Safety; Sustainability; Winter Road Resilience; Electric Vehicle Infrastructure.

Topics on this year’s agenda will range from Road Investment Strategy 2 (RIS2), data, biodiversity and decarbonisation to the electrification of the Strategic Road Network. The agenda will also include case studies covering digital twins, the lower Thames crossing and Publicly Available Specification (PAS) 2080.
