Italian highway tenders underway

Tendering is underway for key Italian highways.

Tendering is opening in Italy for a number of the country’s key highway routes

Tendering is underway in Italy for the concessions for four important highway connections. These routes run between Tuscany and Liguria and the concessions are worth a total of €2.5 billion. The 12-year concession packages will be grouped together, with the tendering being managed by Italy’s Ministry of Transport (MIT).

The country’s Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) in Peru is planning 12 road concessions that will extend some 4,740km. These concessions will be worth in excess of US$3 billion in the period up to 2016. Peru’s Government wants to continue progress made so far in improving connectivity in the country and also with its neighbours.
