Australia road contract awarded to South Korean firm
The 13km M4-M5 Link in Sydney, Australia is to be constructed by the South Korean contractor, Samsung C&T. The project is worth US$788.5 million. The new link will be constructed as an underpass and is due for completion in mid-2023.

The 13km M4-M5 Link in Sydney, Australia is to be constructed by the South Korean contractor, 1026 Samsung C&T. The project is worth US$788.5 million. The new link will be constructed as an underpass and is due for completion in mid-2023.
A joint venture team is to carry out the key Zuidasdok project in the Netherlands. The Zuidplus joint venture team comprises the partners Fluor, Heijmans and Hochtief. The package of works includes widening the A10 South motorway, which includes an underground stretch, as well as the expansion of the Amsterdam Zuid station.
The design and construction contract is worth approximately €990 million, of which Fluor has a 42.5% share, Heijmans 15% and Hochtief 42.5%. The contract also includes seven years of
Construction has commenced on a contract to build a new 27km road link in South Korea. The road will connect the northern and southern regions of South Korea’s Saemanguem area. The work is costing US$813 million and is being carried out in two stages. The first stage of the project should be complete by 2022.
