Several light compactors are available, with the firm introducing two updated models to the region. The company claims that its APF 15/50 Forward Moving Vibratory Plate Compactor combines a powerful exciter system with low hand-arm vibration (HAV) levels. The result is a powerful compactor that is said to be both comfortable and safe for operators. The plate features a working width of 500mm and engine power of 2.9kW. The plate has the firm’s technologically advanced exciter unit, which is said to be is maintenance free and has cylindrical bearings that reduce wear. The exciter system also provides significant forward-moving power to boost productivity in challenging materials and on steep grades.

Meanwhile the ATR 68 P 5076 Rammer offers high compaction output and forward movement. The machine also meets the strictest restrictions for emissions and operation vibration levels. Key features include a Honda GXR120 engine, an optimised and ergonomic power lever and a patented handle concept, which limits hand-arm vibration to protect the operator and meets the strictest safety regulations. It also has an additional air filter, which extends the life of the machine.
