The two companies are currently collaborating on a number of other synergistic solutions, according to a statement from Traffic Group.

For 2018 and beyond, MAV will focus on the launch of new ANPR-based products. Commonly this will use the MAV IQ intelligent cameras as a core building block and edge-based intelligent sensor hub. This portfolio is now augmented by speed and distance measurement technologies from the Traffic Group.

“MAV has achieved excellent growth within the ITS, parking, policing and enforcement markets in the UK and internationally and the Traffic Group network of international channels in more than 60 countries will provide additional routes to market.”

Apart from AGD Systems and now MAV Systems, Traffic Group companies include Pike Signal, Hollco, AGD Systems (Australia) and Arkon Services.
