Key upgrades to roads in Algeria’s Ouargla Province

A series of road and highway upgrades are being carried out in Algeria’s Ouargla Province. These will help boost safety and include new lighting and installing a 10km concrete median divider on the RN-3 route. A new 10km bypass is being built in the south-west of Ouargla city, which is due for completion at the end of October 2015. A series of road and highway upgrades are being carried out in Algeria’s Ouargla Province. These will help boost safety and include new lighting and installing a 10km concrete median divider on the RN-3 route.   • Cameroon highway connection being upgraded

    Construction company Sogea-Satom will carry out the US$101 million contract to upgrade Cameroon’s West Doula highway. The firm is a subsidiary of French contractor Vinci. The work is for a 13km stretch of Cameroon’s RN3 National Road and will take 30 months to complete. The work is being financed by the French development agency (AFD). Sogea-Satom previously won a contract to build a bridge on the RN3 route.
