Russian relief road project for Moscow

A new relief road project is going ahead in Russia’s capital, Moscow. The four lane relief road for the Ostafievskoe Highway in Moscow is due for completion in 2020. The 3.75km link will feature crosswalks, traffic lights and intersections and a 200m bridge section. Noise barriers will be installed along 1.2km of the route.

    Plans to upgrade the Vilnius to Utena highway in Lithuania will now go ahead following the securing of a loan to help pay for the project. The €40 million loan is being sourced from the European Investment Bank (EIB).     A series of road projects are planned for India’s Gujarat State, with the work including the construction of a major new bridge. In all the work is expected to cost US$913.5 million. One key portion of the planned work is for the widening the 201.3km stretch of the NH-47 highway running from Ahmedabad to Rajkot to six lanes.
