Polish road project – bids submitted

Bids have now been submitted for a key Polish road project.

The bidding stage for the S19 road project in Poland is now being completed. The local contractor, Budimex, submitted the leading bid for the project.

The new dual carriageway will connect Bialystok Zachod with Bialystok Ksiezno junction. Budimex made a bid of close to €109 million for the work.

The road connecting Aloag with Santo Domingo is being improved along a 100km stretch, widening the route so that it will feature two lanes in either direction instead of the single lane in either direction at present.     Connectivity will be improved in Papua New Guinea (PNG) following completion of three new road projects for which construction is now commencing. The PNG Government is planning works for three new roads, which will cost some US$134 million to construct. The work includes improving a section of road that connects 9-Mile junction and Erima from three-lane to four lanes and this project will be carried out by Dekenai Construction.
