New China bay crossing tender process

The tender process is now complete for the Shantou Bay Crossing in China. This link will be 10km long and will connect the East Coast Expressway with the Haojiang Guangda Expressway. The project is expected to cost US$1.27 billion to construct. The new link will improve transport connections close to Shantou City in China’s Guangdong Province, reducing journey times for drivers using the existing routes.

    Singapore is opening the tender process for a major road project. The tender is for the construction and design of a section of the North South Corridor (Viaduct). This new link will connect Yishun Avenue 5 and SG Seletar. The tender process is being handled by Singapore’s Land Transport Authority. The closing date for the tender is 29th August, 2019. When fully complete in 2026, this highway will measure 21.5km in length.
