Video: Romanian cycle paths up in the air

October 10, 2016
Either cycle paths in the southern Romanian city of Targu Jiu are too crowded or this unicyclist needed an adrenalin rush.

Likely the latter, and daredevil Flaviu Cernescu, 33, got his fill as he pedalled around the 1m-wide crumbling rim of a disused industrial brick chimney stack. He is more than 250m up and manages to hop his unicycle over objects before deciding to hang by one hand into the black abyss of the chimney.

Tiring of his unicycle, Cernescu decided to walk and juggle his way around the rim.

He is apparently blessed with a superior sense of balance. A couple years ago he took his unicycle out for a spin %$Linker: 2 External <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-16"?><dictionary /> 0 0 0 oLinkExternal around the rim Visit www.telegraph.co.uk News Page false http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/picturegalleries/howaboutthat/10658011/Daredevil-slackliner-Flaviu-Cernescu-crosses-200ft-deep-reservoir-overflow.html false false%> of a huge funnel at Lake Iovanu. The funnel is designed to flush away surplus water.

You are warned; this video is not for the faint-hearted!

  • VIDEO: Even the police can make driving errors
    September 16, 2015
The very people who urge drivers to use more caution are not immune to driving errors themselves, as the video here shows. Speed is sometimes involved and so is simply lack of due care. A speeding police car with its lights flashing and horns blaring may have the right of way, in law or by courtesy, but in many cases the police driver should take note of dangerous situations. At times police drivers also can make a simply mistake, as recently happened in the Spanish Mediterranean city of Barcelona. A
