The power increase is substantial, with the Brokk 500 providing a boost of 40% over its predecessor. The power was added through the company’s SmartPower electrical system.

Badged the 100-series, this back-to-basics design features a boost-controlled pneumatic wastegate, and is said to be suited to engines operating all variation of after-treatment system.

    Thompson Pump revealed a new noise cancellation concept it calls 'Pump of the Future' at CONEXPO-CON/AGG. The company's Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) system mitigates unwanted sound from diesel-driven pumps by adding a secondary sound that acts to cancel the primary noise.
