Kristina takes a look at the TamiSoft machine which offers granular measurement of aggregate chunks. The system triangulates Laser beams reflected off the aggregate into a camera, which records up to 1000 measurements per second.

Leica Geosystems says that the new LS15 tool can be used to complete all the key stages for levelling. The system has a high accuracy of 0.2mm, which can be achieved by aiming at the target via the colour touch display and pressing the measuring button.

Caterpillar's UK dealer Finning UK has completed the first Cat Certified Hydraulic Rebuild (CHR) in Europe. mWhile rebuild of a machine or a powertrain is an option that many Cat dealers worldwide have been offering for years under the Cat Certified Rebuild (CCR) and the Cat Certified Powertrain (CPT) programmes, following the same idea of rebuild, Finning carried out a hydraulic system overhaul for customer Westminster Dredging.
