Kristina takes a look at the TamiSoft machine which offers granular measurement of aggregate chunks. The system triangulates Laser beams reflected off the aggregate into a camera, which records up to 1000 measurements per second.

With Smart Doc, Hamm presents an app with which compaction in earthworks can be transparently documented and the result shared with third parties. The lean app was developed in close coordination with building practitioners. The focus here was on the possibility of self-monitoring when it comes to compaction in earthworks. Smart Doc also fulfils the minimum requirements of continuous compaction control (CCC). With an intuitive user interface, the app also creates added value when training new roller operators, as all relevant compaction parameters are visualised in real time on the smartphone.
Turkish company Semix, which manufactures concrete batching plants, is introducing the new Mobile 120 Y. The plant, which is patented by the company, has a 100m³ aggregate silo capacity, and only requires a 250m² area to operate on site. With its inline aggregate silo solution, customers can stock aggregate with a one-sided concrete/steel ramp, while weighing time is reduced by a T-belt system.
