Plans for Vietnam’s North-South expressway are progressing, with work moving ahead for key portions of the route’s eastern spur. A feasibility study has been carried out for the 29km Nha Trang-Cam Lam stretch, which is planned as a PPP project and is expected to cost around US$225 million. Wade Adams Contracting is carrying out the package of works for a new bridge in Dubai. The bridge will be 600m long and will carry 12 lanes of traffic, connecting mainland Dubai with the Deira Islands. The contract is worth close to US$122 million, with the work scheduled for completion in mid-2018. The contract was awarded to Wade Adams by the property development firm Nakheel.

Mexico has set a major programme of infrastructure development, which is currently in progress for Puebla State. In all the budget for the programme is US$1.35 billion, with the work having been planned by the Mexican Secretariat of Communications and Transport (SCT) for the 2012-2018 period.

A new bridge crossing is being planned for the River Ganges in northern India. The bridge will be 9.9km long and will cost US$291 million to build, with completion scheduled for late 2021.
