Wedding on wheels

In Sweden drive-in weddings are now on the agenda. The Church of Sweden held drive-in weddings at a car rally in Vasteras in central Sweden, with some 36 couples taking up the offer. In all 10 priests officiated and the wedding ceremonies included a procession of 1950s and 1960s cars, a gospel choir and a priest singing Elvis songs, to add to the Las Vegas style.

    UK-based Milton Keynes Council is to borrow €64 million (£50 million) for a new road repair programme to tackle the city’s “decaying" roads and pavements.
