Seasonal spirits

In Poland a Santa Claus and his helper had an excessive quantity of seasonal spirit, resulting in a serious sleigh incident. The two were smiling and waving at passersby from their horse-drawn sleigh when the noise of a vehicle horn startled the animal.

In Poland a Santa Claus and his helper had an excessive quantity of seasonal spirit, resulting in a serious sleigh incident. The two were smiling and waving at passersby from their horse-drawn sleigh when the noise of a vehicle horn startled the animal. Santa and his helper were unable to calm the horse, which reared and sent the pair tumbling from the sleigh as it then collided with a wall. Police were quickly on the scene and determined that the daring duo were heavily under the influence of seasonal spirits. They were charged with drunkenness.

    Sweden is planning to construct more wildlife crossings in a bid to reduce roadkills. The plans have been drawn up by the Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket) and call for €321.74 million to be spent on building new wildlife crossings, bridges and underpasses, as well as erecting more wildlife fencing.
