Two British police officers were surprised to see a woman driving her car with the bonnet (hood) open. Two British police officers were surprised to see a woman driving her car with the bonnet (hood) open. They stopped the woman who explained that the bonnet was faulty and that she was taking the car to a garage to be repaired. In another case, police stopped a man who was rolling a cigarette as he drove and using his elbows to steer while reading from a clipboard balanced on the steering wheel.

    UK officers from Dyfed-Powys Police in Wales recently carried out vehicle checks on a Saturday evening shift. The focus for these checks were on enforcement of drink drive legislation and the officers stopped a number of other vehicles during the evening.
