The innovative Galileo and Galileo Research units are fully electromechanical gyratory compactors. According to Controls, the units offer a major advance in gyratory compaction. The units are designed to offer testing accuracy, repeatability, safety and efficiency. Both models use closed-loop control and patented orbital motion to compact specimens with a level of stiffness and angle stability that exceed the new requirements of AASHTO T312, ASTM D6925, D7115 and EN 12697-31 standards.
