Interest is already strong in the 345 TRA 2012 event scheduled for 23-26 April 2012. This landmark conference will focus on sustainable mobility and will be held in the Greek capital Athens. The promoters are currently calling for papers and say that submissions should be linked to one of the conference topics, which are grouped into six areas and cover all sectors of public transportation. This TRA event is taking a broader role than previous events too as it will encompass rail and water transportation, in addition to road transport. Also planned is a competition for early stage researchers in the area of surface transportation. This Young European Arena of Research gives entrants the opportunity to showcase their work within the field.
