Road repair increase for Hungary

Undersecretary of the Hungarian Ministry of National Development (NFM) responsible for infrastructure, Pal Volner, has revealed that renovations on more than 1,200km of roads in Hungary will be completed by the end of 2014. The works, in line with the country's New Szechenyi Plan (USZT), will cost €372.77 million (HUF 104bn).

The works, in line with the country's New Szechenyi Plan (USZT), will cost €372.77 million (HUF 104bn).

  • Road paving plan proposed for Mozambique

    An ambitious road improvement scheme has been proposed by the Mozambique Government. The programme of works calls for the paving of 2,100km of roads by 2019.     Romania’s road network is developing to meet demand. Data from country’s National Institute of Statistics (INS) reveals that the total length of highways in the country grew by 9.4%, or by 64km, in 2015 compared to 2014.
