New US$341.2mn Polish motorway construction contract awarded to Impreglio

Italian civil engineering company Impregilo, through Poland-based subsidiary Salini Polska, and Polish firm Kobylarnia has been awarded a US$341.2 million (€250mn) contract to build a stretch of Poland’s A1 motorway. The near 75km route will link the towns of Torun and Strykow, and is expected to be completed within a year.

    The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has granted a US$198million (€150million) sovereign-guaranteed loan for the construction of part of the new Banja Luka-Doboj motorway in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
