Kazan allocated US$263.14mn road repair budget for 2012

Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin said authorities would allocate US$263.14million to repair the city’s road network in 2012, compared to a total of $197.66million spent over the previous five years.

    German engine maker Deutz has reported new order sales were down just over 10% in the first half of this year, to €670.7 million. Unit sales also fell, around 21% down on the first half of last year, to 78,120 engines.     France will invest €5.1 billion in maintenance and construction of highways up to 2022 as part of a major transportation strategy. The money for highways is within €13.4 billion that the government pledged to invest in the general transportation sector. More than half of the money will be for railways.
