A budget of €133 million has been set to improve roads in Lower Austria. Key projects include boosting the safety of the B37 from Krems Nord to Gneixendorf Süd, as well as work to the Wiener Neustadt ring road and Großglobnitz-Kleinpoppen bypass. Repair work will also be carried out to the B33 near Aggsbach-Dorf following a rockfall on the route.

Around 510 projects will be tackled as part of the Lower Austrian Road Construction Programme 2025. Improved capacity and safety will be delivered as a result of the works.
