2197 Ascorel’s latest weighing systems for equipment such as wheeled loaders are now available with new temperature sensors for improved accuracy and quicker results when operating in extreme conditions.

The temperature adjusts the weight according to the temperature fluctuations of the hydraulic fluid, enabling the operator to zero the bucket less often.

Other features of MC 382 and MC 402 include a new user interface, an integrated help menu and the ability to recall a load that has been deleted from the running total or to subtract a load that was only partially loaded. Any tickets from earlier jobs can also be reprinted. The keyboard response is now faster than before, aiding tasks such as scrolling through a long list of customers.

Ascorel has recently refocused its operations into three business units. Ascorel Scales will handle its entire line of on-board weighing systems. Ascorel Construction provides anti-collision systems for tower and mobile cranes as well as ancillary devices such as remote control. Ascorel Controls covers the company’s safe load indicators, control command systems and other OEM products.
