Transport professionals are invited to compete for the sought-after Global Road Achievement Awards. Instituted in 2000, the IRF Global Road Achievement Awards (GRAA) have celebrated more than 120 programmes, projects, and products from around the world. Today, the awards are recognised as a prestigious industry accolade in their own right, but they also serve to remind a much wider audience that the mobility everyone takes for granted would not be possible without the talent and commitment of our industry.

The company, which develops and supplies temporary acoustic barriers for use on major construction projects to reduce noise pollution, was highly commended for its Echo H1 barrier and range of products during the 2011 John Connell Awards.
Eurovia UK and Academy of Robotics are entering into a partnership to trial the use of Academy of Robotics' Kar-go AI technology for road maintenance. The partnership will see Eurovia UK testing the use of Kar-go technology to automate the delivery of small plant equipment, tools, materials and other components to and from a highway work site as well as the potential use of data collected by Kar-go as it travels, to determine the condition of roads.
