The winners of the Plantworx Innovation Awards for 2019 have been announced.
This year there were eight categories, which between them attracted 110 individual entries from across the industry. The categories were: Commitment to skills and training;
INTERMAT was the venue for the official hand-over of one of the world’s first Kobelco CKE 2500G crawler cranes. Herman Smit, chief operating officer of crane giant Mammoet, came to the show on Friday to meet Kobeloc Crane’s president and chief executive officer Isao Aida for the handover of the 250tonne lattice boom machine. While he was at the show Smit confirmed orders for another 46 cranes of 180 tonnes and 250tonnes capacity.
Magni Telescopic Handlers has ambitious plans to increase its share of the telehandler market after its €15-20million investment in machines, attachments and a new production facility. At bauma 2013, Magni has unveiled its RTH and HTH models. The RTH range consists of seven rotating telehandler models, and the HTH range of two heavy-duty machines for the mining and oil industry, with a further model in development.
