Iveco’s latest generation of Trakker construction truck is available with two versions of the FPT Cursor engine in 8 and 13litres, with power ratings from 230-372kW, meeting Euro V emissions. “Customers who need a Euro VI version can also choose the new Trakker with our Hi-eSCR exhaust after-treatment package,” said Alessandro Mortali, Iveco’s head of heavy trucks.

The driver of a construction truck in the Russian city of Voronezh recently had an unwelcome surprise when his own vehicle became the centre for a major road repair. The mixer truck was being driven along the road to a construction site when it suddenly fell into a large hole in the roadway. No ordinary pothole, this was sufficiently large for the rear of the vehicle to tumble inside, leaving only the cab poking out. The driver managed to jump out and was unhurt. Road crashes in Brunei caused more deaths in 2015 compared with 2014. The data from Brunei's Fire and Rescue Department shows that from January to November 2015, there were 15 road deaths compared with 10 fatalities from road crashes in 2014. In the period under review, the department obtained 76 calls to assist in lifting drivers and passengers trapped in ruined vehicles as opposed to 92 calls obtained in the preceding year.
